Michael Bloom is a former police officer who experienced firsthand the challenges and brokenness of the communities he served. Today, through Hip Hop & Hope, Michael leads a nonprofit focused on bringing hope, purpose, and transformation to people through the message of Jesus Christ. His journey from law enforcement to nonprofit leadership is a powerful picture of what can happen when we surrender our plans and allow God to redirect our lives.
At the Faith Forward Conference, Michael will equip us to wrestle with Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 9:19: “Though I am free and belong to no one, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.” Through his story and practical insight, Michael will challenge us to consider what it looks like to make ourselves a servant to others. Not because we have to, but because Christ has set us free to serve. His breakout session will invite us to move beyond simply carrying our faith into the workplace and instead use our freedom, influence, and gifts to become servants for the sake of others.
